This listing is for all the random shaash designs that there are only a couple of; it is impossible to photograph and show them all but I have arranged them into categories, blue/black/white designs, and black/white/red designs. If you purchase the red, black and white designs please specify if you'd like a design with red dominant; or the black and white dominant as I have a few each of both colourways.
Some of these shaash do have minor flaws; snags and slubs, slight bits missing from the print etc but this is all part of their charm (and something that is very common with almost all shaash) and due to the traditional manufacturing processes employed.
A shaash is a bandana; traditionally made out of silk but now made out of silkyrayon/viscose fibres. Traditionally they were only worn by married women but now that no longer really applies. They measure a generous 38" square (approx) and due to the slight waxed coating on the fabric are very easy to wrap or tie into a variety of styles which will stay put; even if you have extremely fine hair. If you want to cover your hair for any religious or practical reason; this is a great option. The shaash comes with labels on; that are traditionally left on it, and they traditionally come unhemmed as well. Try to avoid ironing as much as possible and these are strictly handwash only, make sure you dry them extremely well with a towel once washed, any excess wetness will damage them.
Made in India, and imported from KSA. 100% Viscose with Synthetic Wax finish. You will get the colourway described but a random design (all of them are lovely by the way and selling out fast).
